Ravens Player Eugene Monroe Creates Website Advocating For Medical Marijuana To Be Lifted From The NFL Substance List

via Eugene Monroe’s Facebook Page- “I’m excited to unveil my new website: visit www.eugenemonroe.com to learn more about my story and why I’m campaigning for the NFL to remove marijuana from the banned substances list. Let me know what you think!”

Look I’m for smoking the pot just as much as the next guy. A little PR 101 for my guy Eugene Monroe here though (shout our Pardon My Take). Advocating for marijuana to be removed from the NFL banned substance list is probably not the best idea when you are still a player in the NFL, especially considering the substance is not legal period. Currently 70% of NFL players puff the magic dragon (this is a made up statistic I created for this blog). But basically what I am trying to say here is a lot of professional athletes smoke weed. They are tested for street drugs once a year, so 11 months out of the year feel free to smoke. And nothing is going to change as long as prescription drugs are still legal and marijuana is not. My advice to Eugene- come to the Texans, smoke all the chronic those offensive line lungs can handle with Deandre, win the Super Bowl, take up legalizing marijuana with Barry O at the trip to the white house. Bulletproof.
